I like the way you think. I haven't had a lucid in a couple of months, but I've still done cool things and gone to great places. Being aware of it is just the icing. |

It's probably been about 6 months now, and for some reason I cannot get this down. But I was thinking about it, and I've decided to not try any techniques or anything and just let it happen on its on own. Just last night I had an incredible dream, and that's when I realized that I don't even need to become lucid. I can still go places I could never go, do things I could never do, meet people I could never meet, and have relationships that I'm not positive I could ever have. And in that dream, that moment; that is my reality. The reason I am writing this is to not say that there is no need for lucid dreams or anything like that, but to just remind those that are having a tough time just as I am to not be frustrated or dissapointed but to just enjoy your experiences, and if comes, it will come. |

Wow. You are really inspiring. I have recently been pissed off as I can't find a tech that works for me. You are right. I'll let things be for a while because I do have random LDs anyway (like three times a year). Thanks man. |

Yeah, that's very inspiring. I do have lucid dreams now and then, however, they just don't last long. But that's OK, even though they don't last long now, doesn't mean they won't last long later. Same for having lucid dreamings. Having no lucid dreams now doesn't mean it will always have to be this way. And yeah, normal dreams are really cool too. I remember that someone quoted an author of a lucid dreaming book where the author said that you should value normal dreams as much as lucid dreams in order to become lucid dreams. |

I think it's really stupid being frustrated of something that should give you fun and pleasure! So yea people, work on your dream recall, that's all really matters! |

Well, I think even bad moments might help you. That is, if you stop having them after a short while. Just acknowledge your feelings. And yes, dream recall is very important. Three months ago I started my first real dream journal. At that time I could only remember 1 - 2 (sometimes none) dreams a day. Now, after three months, I can remember 5 - 7 dreams a night. I usually have one lucid dream a week (sometimes more, depends (not sure on what... |
