      Hello!

Usually if I wake up during the night, one technique that I like to use is simply focusing my thoughts on my head. And the harder I focus, the more pressure I can actually feel in my head. I use this to induce a wake-induced lucid dream. My tinnitus usually kicks in when doing this and that gives me something auditory to focus on. If tired enough, I can usually enter a dream within seconds of doing this. However, I can not see anything. I am able to move my hands and I always plug my nose to do a reality check (to check if I can breathe), but I have trouble going from there.

Any suggestions for how I could enter an actual visual dream? Opening my eyes used to work and put me in a scene, but the last couple of times I tried it I just wake up instead.

I'd also be interested to hear if anyone else tried this.

      D

      What's tinnitus?

If you're trying to WILD, try to develop a dream scene by imagining it, or imagining HI. Try the vizualisation technique: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=39763

Tinnitus is the buzzing in your ears. The lucid dreaming Wikibook has a brief explanation.

If you're sure you're in a dream world without any scenery, you could try to spin and think about the scenery you would like to be in. This usually works.
      Sure, why not?
