I've tried the reverse blinking twice now, and both times I've got to the REM state.

The problem is that I find it really annoying - and it distracts me from what I'm doing.

I guess I could relax a bit more before trying the reverse blinking to try and take my mind off it. But does anybody have any other tips on how they do it from when they get to this stage?
