I've only thus far had DILDs (5 of them) and one (partially unsuccessful) FILD.

What I want to know, from those who have experience, is whether a WILD is much more realistic than all the other methods, I heard this somewhere.

      Is it true?

when i WILD, it is much more vivid than a DILD. but you can increase lucidity in a DILD by shouting "lucidity now" or something, or just take in all senses.

okay, all my LDs are very vivid, pretty colors, smells and all the touch feely stuff. Now what I am asking is what is all this shouting "lucidity now" stuff? I have seen it in other posts, is this just a trick? Again, I have said this before. I have never done any shouting out in my dreams to evoke any knowledge that I am dreaming. I just have triggers and tadaow I know I am dreaming. And my senses are always on full alert in my dreams. That is one reason why I LD on a regular basis. I am going to try this though on my next lucid dream. I am curious as to what will happen, well actualy I am going to yell in "my crowd"; The task you know.

I have conversations all the time, with my DCs, I even sometimes slip out of my sleep and talk to my husband then roll back. He talks to me the terd, I can hear him on a conscious level, but he thinks I am awake. But I know and can feel that I am still in sleep state, I just feel my way around and pull myself back in and ld. However, I have yet been able to use the vocabulary list to pin point my dreams as you guys have or give them their designated names. I am still confused between the difference between WILD, DILD, FILD. Nevertheless, I was still curious as to the shouting stuff. Sorry if this is off topic. Thanks for your time.

Some people just use the phrase to force their will/brain-power to increase clarity in their dreams. Another tool to increase vividness would be to look at your hands, or something. Just a tool.
