Well i have had about four years of trouble going to sleep and now i am cured and it took me half an hour. The most interesting think it says is that normal animals need two conditions to sleep that is limitation of muscle and monotomy (constant environmental conditions like sound), but humans being need one more that is a state neer unconscious.
Well now on too the technique. The most improtant thing in this method is not caring, so dont care about falling asleep doing the technique right e.t.c. this will get you really relaxed if you find yourself not going to sleep just say i am getting rest and it doesnt matter. Now on to the bits that dont matter well. Now you should lightly daydream and think about something. Make both as free as possible and dont control them much let them drift through your mind. Your thoughts at this stage will turn random and HI will appear when this occur just dont care about it. Well after this you enter your dream you should still keep the uncaring relaxed mind as you will wake up if you dont. Try to imagine speaking in a very relaxed slow manner as it helps to stay conscious.
P.S. I would try and relax during the day as it helps. Also before going to sleep say to yourself i dont care if i dont fall asleep as i will rest.
