As the title suggests what is the best way you all find to achieve lucid dreams? The method I get farthest with is WILD

I'm a DILDer, though I like to experiment with FILD and WILD.

These days, I'm trying FILD. No success so far, as I forget RCing, when I think I failed ;P

The best and it's also very easy method is just wake up after 6 hours and then stay awake about ten minutes thinkin about lucid dreaming and believe you would have lucid dream after you get back to sleep. Is't sooo easy!

For me FILD is the easiest, but usually those LDs are really short and not as vivid.

Just becoming aware in a dream is my main technique, slightly harder but defenitely worth it!

well the most lds ive had in one technique is DILD but those are random. Im messing around with WILD cause once you find that sweet spot in WILD's its really hard to fail

Yes, but there's one problem about it. You REALLY have to believe you will have lucid dream.

Once I tried it again and I was sitting in my bed and thinkin about lucid dreams but somehow... I knew that wasn't the day to have one. I knew in the back of my mind I will not have lucid. And I didn't.

      hi nerte,

i am practising the wbtb method now.

from beginning , sleep around 1am, wake up at 7am, stay awake for 20mins then go to sleep again. failed , soooo awake , can't sleep.

then change the timing to only stay awake for few minutes, this time i can go to zzz but still no ld yet...i dunno why?

DILD and MILD, though they are the only ones I've tried seriously, but they work very well

I've tried WILD a few times but without success... I will try it again soon.
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
