If you are strongly V I would go for watching the hypnagogic imagery (in a detached but alert kinda way) or as, I mentioned, my own preference is to visualise strongly a dream scene (mainly because I learnt it trying to get back into particularly good dreams after waking). Build it and build, it brick by brick, or leaf by leaf if necessary. At a certain point the scene becomes very lucid and I can walk into it. I'm KVA (strongly K&V) or even VKA, depending on the test...

Don't know much about A types - its rarer. But perhaps, for WILD, counting or reading aloud works best? Or maybe MILD (with the affirmations made out aloud?) works better, or audio methods?
