Hey, a loong ass time ago I had a lucid dream due to WBTB. What's ironic is that at the time I really didn't know anything about this method, so the result couldn't be a placebo effect.

I woke up after around 6, 7 hours of sleep to go to school.
I went downstairs, and looked outside. Snowy!
My brother and I checked on the TV and we saw that school had been closed for 2 hours. w00t!
I was especcially glad since I was hella tired.
(These events occured in around 10-20 minutes)

I got back to bed and relaxed. I was really glad that I could sleep, and I easily drifted to sleep.

In my dream, I easily found a DreamSign and became Lucid for a few seconds. Huzzah!

It was only until after I read the WBTB Guide here at dreamviews did I realize that I performed it.

Anyway, the fact of the matter is that it works like a charm and you should all give it a shot. I'm definintally gonna try it again tonight ^_^

Prolly. I first thought it was a dumb idea, but after thinking about it, I guess it's **somehow** effective.

I can say that, when I was a (elemntary-middle school) kid, I always looked forward to snow days.

I looked forward SO much (when you knew that there was a chance it would be closed) that I would actually have around 7-10 False Awakenings in about a one hour period. All the same - me waking up, watching the TV, not seeing my school.
