So, as is posted in the thread located in my sig, I've only had two lucid dreams in my life ( from my early childhood ). But tonight after reading on this site for a few days, I've discovered something that works extremely well for me, which gave me 2 lucid dreams in under a minute. I will share it...

*Note, in all reality, it's just a method of WILD, mixed with a little VILD, but, anyways...

      1. Most importantly, I made sure I could barely stay awake before attempting this...

      2. I layed in a comfortable position, closed my eyes, and as a warm up counted to 10. ( 1, breath in, breath out, 2, breath in, etc... )

      3. I imagined someone I knew, in this case it was a family friend. I made sure I had a perfect image of the person.

      4. I counted to 10, and everytime I reached 10, I asked, "is this a lucid dream" if she said no, I began counting again until I reached 20, than asked again, until she said "yes".

This worked with all the lights on, and the tv going, my Dad snoring, and my sister typing on the computer...

The reason for rapid succession of my lucid dreams is because, I still haven't gotten over the excitement of realizing I'm having one, therefore waking soon after it really begins, but it's coming... While they lasted, they were the most vivid dreams, LD or not, that I ever remember having, I could hear music playing so clearly it was as though I had on headphones. It was so vivid it looked like I was wide awake talking to people.

This is what is the coolest part of the whole thing in my opinion though - I didn't go through SP, at all. It was literally like I was totally awake, as far as moving, etc... And the first dream came within 20 seconds or so.

      Thought I would share that.

He who dreams of drinking wine may weep when morning comes; he who dreams of weeping may in the morning go off to hunt. While he is dreaming he does not know it is a dream, and in his dream he may even try to interpret a dream. Only after he wakes does he know it was a dream. And someday there will be a great awakening when we know that this is all a great dream. Yet the stupid believe they are awake, busily and brightly assuming they understand things, calling this man ruler, that one herdsman ‑ how dense! Confucius and you are both dreaming! And when I say you are dreaming, I am dreaming, too. Words like these will be labeled the Supreme Swindle. Yet, after ten thousand generations, a great sage may appear who will know their meaning, and it will still be as though he appeared with astonishing speed

Sounds cool with me, may actually end up developing a method that works pretty smoothly during the daytime.
