Well I got the idea from last night, when I was watching Band of Brothers.
I was well into, but I had recorded it and I was watching it at like 1:30 in the morning. I tried to keep awake, and each time I nodded off thinking of things, and pictures almost formed, but they were things non-relevant to the show. I finally go to sleep, I wake up half-asleep (literally), then nod back into sleep, and a helment and stuff starts forming. So I'm like "cool. I always wanted to know how the war was like and stuff." even though the dream could have been scary (ya know, I guess subconsciously I could have been afraid). But after I see a helment *Fade* I go out.

Here's the thing: is this my subconscious working both for me/against me?
I mean, I went to sleep viewing this WWII show, almost had a WWII dream, but then it fades, possibly due to my "unknown fears".

I'm going to try an experiment tonight. Stay up really late, watch another part of the series, and go to sleep while watching it. My hypothesis is that I will dream about this stuff.

Has this stuff been proven to induce lucid dreams or anything? Because I want to try it with some of my dreamsigns too. (computers and stuff)

Oh yeah, and any other info on the subconscious and stuff? I'm kind of intrigued here...
