:bravo: Congrats on a lucid dream! That definitely can be considered your first experience, as all lucid dreaming really is is the knowledge that you are dreaming. It doesn't matter for how long, or how much control. Just the fact that you realized that you are dreaming makes you lucid! |

Well I read your article in your signature and thank you for not blasting me as a noob :-). The more I think about it the more sense it makes. I mean I realized that I was dreaming, I definitely caused myself to float above a building. Since that happened under my control, I guess I shouldn't look to much else. |

I like how you added the part about having a feeling of extreme joy. Thats the best way to know that you are LD-ing along with the conscious realization that you are at that moment in a dream. |

Congratulations! I'd say, in fact, that you did a lot better in your LD than some people. Some don't do anything other than just stand there saying, "Hey, I'm LD!" and regret later not having tried to do anything. Still others wake up immediately from the excitement. Great work! Keep practicing and remember to RC, RC, RC!! |

Yeah, I have to say that the greatest part about it, other than of course flying, was just the immensity of the joy and enthusiasm I felt. I've been reading up on how to prolong it and a lot of it seems to center on not getting too excited. I'm almost positive that that's what caused me to lose lucidity. I was hovering over the building thinking...'oh my god, oh my god, oh my god' and then the lucidity was gone. |
