      Hello, all.
Last night I attempted a WILD and ALMOST got it! I was so angry when I woke up. However, I tried to do a WILD inside my dream. I remembered that I was dreaming almost instantly, and never lost lucidity.
I did a couple reality checks, all the while imagining that I did while I was thinking of my memory before sleeping 4-5 hours (as recommended). I woke up a few minutes before my alarm, so I did a few reality checks (and imagining that I did afterwards so it becomes a habit to imagine this in my dream) and went back to sleep after reading the WILD paper-guide-thing again. I focused on my memory and found no luck sleeping. I flipped over. My restless mind had either fallen asleep, or I was awake the entire time. All I know is that my mind never left that memory. It was almost an hour and a half later. I did more RC's and forced myself to be relaxed. (deep breathing, clear mind, happy thoughts)

"VVVVVV!" My phone woke me up from vibrating. I got agitated and picked up my phone, realizing that I was on the wrong side of my bed. "I must not be sleeping well." I answer the text and realize that the background on the phone is not mine. "This is a lucid dream!" I check the time: 6:54. It combined the times that I saw over the time of the night. (6:04, 5:54) After trying to lift myself up, I found I was in SP. I tried to lift myself up to try and enter my WILD, but failed and almost woke up. When I flip over onto my stomach, my mom shouts "Look at the ugly flower!" At the TV that's displaying The Mummy that appeared in the middle of my room.
"That's a mummy. This is definitely a dream." Unfortunately, my dream state ended.

I found out that over the last few LD's that I've had, I've woken up at least once and done reality checks. One time it was as little as an hour after I fell asleep, and now 5 hours later.

My theory is that if you do RC's in the middle of the night before falling asleep and after you wake up in the middle of the night; you will realize that you're dreaming faster. Has this been tested before?
I shall call this the RCITMOTNILD (Reality Check In The Middle Of The Night Induced Lucid Dream)

Maybe just the Nighttime RC Technique.

Let me know If i'm misunderstanding, your saying that if you do reality checks in the middle of the night, you will have the memory of that in a dream? It could very well be since I've remembered my previous dreams inside another dream. Anyway, I will give it a shot.

      thanks, and good luck
