      Peace of Mind Helps

I can say in my experience, that having a peaceful and quiet mind greatly enhances the odds of having an LD, and increases our level of control. For me, every time I'd have touching and "homecoming" experience to God, I'd feel more fulfilled and peaceful, and it's on those nights that I have my LD's the best.

My point being, that having a calm and happy life in the waking life is pretty essential to having great LD's.

I agree, but sometimes life can be really stressful and if additionally one doesn't succeed in dreaming lucid one can get really frustrated.

That's why meditation can help...deep relaxation...peace of mind. It is a good place to 'be'.

What sucks about this is that trough Lucid dreaming you can work on those things in your life that make it stressfull. Gaining confidence, overcoming fears ya know the deal. Anyway it is ashame it is harder, but I do agree that it is.
