Ok after I got really tired I decided to try out that DEILD thing...I did some deep breathing (which helps me concentrate) and counted to about 200-250 and fell asleep and when I woke up I kept my eyes close. About 5 minutes later I went back to sleep. Then I had a dream I had a dream that I was accualy in one of my games called Hidden: Source. I was the enemy in the game and I was jumping around trying to get away. Also I killed 2 people...but thats the object of the game. Anyway I was so happy to have a dream! But my problem is this...I need to know how I can control my dreams, or atleast control myself in my dreams. I felt like I did have some control but I'm not to sure. I think I've almost got this thing down!

Was it lucid? Didn't mention that anywhere. By that I mean, did you knew you were dreaming?

Did you ever stoped during the dream and just said: "Hey, I'm dreaming"?

What I think you do right now is, you tell your self in RL that you had a lucid because you were doing crazy stuff. Believe me, when you have a lucid, you'll know it is one (not necesserily).

Is there anything I can do to make myself know that I'm in a dream?

To be honest I don't think that it really worked to you. As far as I understood the technique is a kind of shortcut for WILD so that you take your awaken mind into the dream leading to being lucid all the way through. That's how the technique worked for me (and pretty well not to say&#33
Don't understand me wrong, the part with sleep paralysis 'n stuff seemed to have worked well on you but on the other hand I think you may have lost your awareness and just fell asleep again? I might also be wrong. Correct me please if so.

      Take care,

Sorry to be ignorant, but could you describe the technique in more detail?

I think you may be misunderstanding the concept of lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming is dreaming while you are aware that everything around you is indeed a dream, it usually begins when you see something strange, and question the reality around you. You did not mention becoming aware of the dream in your experience, I cannot call this a DEILD, because a DEILD is performed directly after the end of a dream.
For the record, I did not rip off DEILD from anyone, if there is a pre existing technique similar to it somewhere, it is a coincidence, because a lot of hard work on my part went into making this.
I don't require more respect than any other forum member, I don't really care what people say about me
Mershwista, click on DEILD in my signature to read about my technique in more detail.

Ohhh...I was misunderstanding it alittle. I thought that when you had a dream you would already be aware that you're dreaming and realize it's a lucid dream. But now that you say you become aware that you are dreaming from noticing something strange and questioning the reality around you. I must of thought that it wasn't a dream because nothing seemed different from the game and I thought I was accualy playing it. That's probably my problem...when I have a dream nothing seems to be strange because everything else around it is just like it.
