Ive been trying to WILD for a few weeks now and have only succeeded once, and that was a 2 second lucid that was very unpleasant during and after.

I have no problem reaching sleep paralysis, and I can usually feel my eyes start moving in my sockets very rapidly without me doing anything once ive reached sleep paralysis. When in this state however, I usually end up daydreaming, or falling asleep without entering a lucid state. My method for remaining conscious is the one where i put my index and middle fingers up and down over and over.

My main question is, at what time should I stop whatever method I am using to remain consicous? Should I stop right after reaching sleep paralysis? Also, does anyone have any tips for how to connect with the dream world more easily once in this state?

Lately I have been trying to imagine a scenario and create a dream-however, I feel that at this point and time I lack the focus to ignore the fact that I am still in my bed and completely concentrate on the dream that I would like to have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated-I had my first MILD last night so I know that I have the ability to do this.

Try checking billy bobs tutorial, I personally find it the best. I think the piano fingers (what you use) is a pretty weak way to remain concious. Try counting 1, I'm dreaming 2, I'm dreaming so on and so forth. He also has alot of other really good suggestions.
