Thread: First Successful Wild (i Think?)

So I took a nap today for about three hours 'cause I'm a lazy bastard. Around the halfway mark I was just zoning the hell out, had already given up trying to WILD for the day, and I noticed that all my limbs were tingling. I tried to fight it, but said screw it and let it happen. I started seeing mystical scenes with my eyes closed, eyes were jotting back and forth, body was tingling. Then I'm in a backyard with a pool, wadding in it with my friend on a chair. I'm talking to him, and all of a sudden I get the idea to do a nose reality check. It fails, so I try again to make sure, and sure enough it fails again! I instantly realize I'm dreaming and then my friend stops talking (he had asked me what I was doing). I get out of the pool and had next door to say hi to my neighbors () but as I get to the driveway (I have no driveway), I start losing lucidity. My whole mind says to spin, but instead I decide to just keep walking faster forward. Eventually, it goes black and I "wake up" on the cement. False awakening. I couldn't rectify it by making myself lucid again (since in the dream I was trying to WILD again, go figure).

It was definitely pretty cool to experience though. I didn't know the hypnogic (sp) could get that intense. At one point I tried to anchor myself by counting 1, I'm dreaming, 2 I'm dreaming, etc, but it was too intense and I fell into a dream without being conscious but quickly gained lucidity. Not sure if it counts for a WILD, but if it doesn't, it was pretty damn close!
