      Share your WILD experiences

I've been thinking. Every time I have successfully WILDed (4 times now) or had a near WILD experience (2), it has been really different.

I wonder if it would benefit those who are tyring to learn to WILD if they could read all of our different experiences.

      Here are mine

1: (WILD) Was already in sleep paralysis, felt gentle sinking sensation as I was watching a butterfly slowly flap its wings

2: (WILD) Darkness, extreme vibration, then sinking feeling. Opened my 'eyes' and was in an LD

3: (near WILD) Darkness, felt vibrations, then roused and they faded. no LD

4: (WILD) Vibrations started and intensified. Some HI, very little. As vibrations faded, felt sinking sensation. HI stabilized and I was in an LD

5: (near WILD) Vibrations begin. See a bright point of light with energy bands expanding outward. Whenever I would pass though one, a vibration occurred. Got too excited and lost it (no LD)

6: (WILD) Virbrations started. Saw streaks of lightning followed by quickly scrolling patterns. Vibrations faded. No sinking sensation this time. Opened my eyes and was in LD

1: (near wild) hit hypnotic imagery then paralysis... started seeing images of a white divider line at night. then i felt my mind shoot out and i saw face cards everywhere... then it felt like there was a bag of sand on my chest... i pulled out of it.

2: (near wild) hit hypnotic imagery then paralysis... stayed in hypnotic imagery for a while until i noticed my breathing at ease... the distracted me and i woke up.

3: (short lived wild) hit hypnotic imagery then paralysis... started seeing images of people... images become clearer and clearer. i see an old girlfriend standing at the end of a dock... she welcomes me to 'the dream world.' this freaks me out because i didn't remember that i had tried wilding. i woke up then kicked myself.

4: (near wild) hit hypnotic imagery then paralysis. hypnotic imagery didn't change but my eye lids started twitching... rem i guess? nothing happened.

i'll try again tonight, it's been a while since i've tried to wild.
      clear eyes. strong hands.

I am not sure how useful it is but all my WILDs seem the same, which is I don't feel or see anything at all untill the moment I enter the dream.

I just had my first lucid dream on thursday, and now have done it succesfully 3 days in a row.. All were after 5-7hrs of sleep with about 45mins to an hour before going back to bed. All three times saw H. imagery mostly the blobs of color and such, what I really go through is the hypnogogic sounds... On thursday I heard a toy laser gun and then a loud tv (course I wont have a t.v. on while attempting a WILD) yesterday I heard a cell phone type ring and then (this was an awesome sensation) a very loud jet airplane getting ready to take off, and while I heard this my body was going into sleep paralysis and when the plane sound started to accelerate (taking off) my body rushed with it right into the dream (first images I saw were of a crudely drawn airplane and it animated like a flip book) Tried again today and was successful for the third time in a row, however after laying there for 30mins or so I think I just fell asleep and once the dream started I became lucid....todays was by far the longest of the 3 and I had the most control... But the day where I went straight into it from consciousness it was a lot more real and crazy/scary... PM me if you want any tips or more detail... I think i just found my best way of LD and feel that I can do this everyday, however I'm still very new to the dream world and its still very insane to me.

This is my first post here.

I've been studying Lucid dreaming and other fun states of consciousness for the past 5 years. I'm an insomniac, I've got breathing problems, and an intense fear of nightmares from childhood I've only recently overcome. because of this I've had to basically take everything I've read about Lucid dreaming and completely re-create it to work for my physiology. this has worked out to be a good thing because I've learned that paradigms can really only hold you back. things like special postures, special breathing styles etc. granted, at first they can be helpful, (breathing with me however was particularly frustrating). It seems like these paradigms or rituals work like computor programs that trick us into our desired state. at first they are often totally nessesary. but if you slowly move away from them as these states of consciousness become second nature its amazing how fast certain states can be obtained. I'm mostly talking about "WILD"s here. I find that for "MILD" the only trully nessesary tool is the journal. whenever i teach people how to have lucid dreams thats the number one priority.

Sorry, since this was my first post i felt like i needed an intro.

Okay so about MILDs... yea.. I'm not saying im the best in the world because im not. as a matter of fact all this stuff is rather difficult for me. however i can get there regularly and often. my only problem is staying there. but here are some experiences:

#1. did laberg's favorite relaxation technique (61 point) very methotically after some pretty serious practice. this techique seemed to work so well it was hard to count because I'd get so relaxed. anyway I just did that and waited and all of a sudden my arms lifted out of my body... kinda neat. didnt last very long.

#2. (years later) I'm on the train going to work just sitting there. I close my eyes and listen to music. I get distracted by people laughing talking and arguing so i let the train vibrations and rock music totally cover up all the non rhythmic BS. then i just start imagining the texture of the seat in front of me, how it feels to touch it. Then i listen in my mind for how it would sound to touch it. basically i just go from easiest to imagine to hardest to imagine using my known scenary an imaginal model. for taist i just imagine a fruit or something floating there... anyway by this time.. by the time i come to imagery (which is hardest) i can imagine just about anything really well. and by this time i'm extremely relaxed and not at all thinking about my body. I'm thinking about what I'm seeing. as soon as you stop thinking thats when hypnotic imagery comes in. I just let it do its thing. the only thing i put effort into is staying somewhat conscious. this is rather hard when every other moment random imagery becomes your reality. your in and out of thinking your an intergalactic bunny or something like that.. either way i sortof have to fight through the delirium. finally all of a sudden it apears to me that i can see through my eye lids in the train and see everything in a slight tint of orange. i could move my head all around but wasnt able to get up or anything before i came out of it. (sorry my tenses were all out of wack) (i did this exact same thing every few days for several weeks and was able to reach the sate within 10 minutes)

#3. most recently i just closed my eyes laying down, navigated to the place in my mind where hypnotic imagery is seen. naturally i became very relaxed very fast and there i was. i just followed the imagery into the WILD. i basically got rid of all the techniques and just basically navigated to the state. now its only a matter of comming up with some temporary trick to STAY in the state. this whole mental navigation can be useful in all forms of consciousness. I'll eloborate on that some other time.

      Here are my WILDs:

      1) (almost wild) Vibrations, feeling of my heart beating and blood pumping through my veins. Strange buzzing sound. HI - weird clocklike device on top of my drawer.

It was my first WILD, and I got up from my bed in reality before I became fully paralyzed.

      2) (OOBE) same night as my first WILD. I focused on the same sensations and felt myself pulled out of my body. I hovered under a ceiling in the next room. It was daytime and I had very weird perceptual effects.... I think I had no body.

      3) (WILD) I entered into a daydream and was riding a bike. Suddenly I felt WILD sensations (vibrations, sounds) and jumped into a LD.

      4) Almost WILD. I felt vibrations, sounds, uncomfortable feelings. Voice of my sister demanded me to wake up and told me I'll be late to my job. It caused me to lose lucidity.

      5) Forced WILD. Took vitamin B6 before going to bed. Felt vibrations, uncomfortable sensations, weird noise. Felt Like i was wrapped in a spiderweb. I waited about a minute, got up. I was wrapped in a spiderweb, and it was in my mouth. later I was attacked by a white dragon....

      6) Somewhat close to forced WILD. I entered a daydream, then started to feel uncomfortable. It felt like someone grabbed my by my chest, and tossed me out of that dream. I woke up on the floor in my room. It was a LD...

      cant remember anymore...
