      Got my LD - thanks

      Hey all,

Last night I had my first lucid dream since joining the site, thats 13 days - i've kept a constant dream journal, done reality checks whenever anything weird happened etc.

Last night I just realised that I was dreaming. It was quite exciting, so naturally I started to wake up. I tried to do the old hand rub technique but I think i was too far gone. The whole thing only lasted about 3 seconds, but it has given me the motivation to continue with all this LD'ing. I want to have a proper, long one

Anyway, I just want to thank everyone on this sight - I hope this is the beginning!

Congrats! I'm still working on my first LD, but I had a really long and amazing dream last night where I actually had some amount of control (almost miniscule, though), but I didn't realize I was dreaming.

      thanks!

About the control thing - a few nights before I had my LD, I started to experience more control and more awareness in my dreams. I think it shows you are getter closer - it is more on your mind as you are sleeping!
