You might be one of those ppl that just cant WILD and stay conscious, I'm like that too. Practice your dream recall (until you remember at least 2 a night) and try some dream re-entry (basically the WBTB technique). But if you wanna stick to the WILD, just keep practicing but just dont practice to hard.

Well Don't try so hard to clear your mind, just keep trying to be thoughtliss don't push it, if the music comes just listen the music inside your head won't stop you from wilding, you can even pay close attention to it, and it might help you focus on something other then your physical body causing you to forget where you are, and then you'll be in a dream.

bit off topic here but how did you rack up 198 LDs LucidDreamGod? Nice going man. How much time in total have you been lucid do you think? I'm guessing a weeks worth?

I havn't kept good record I started recording at around 139 because I counted the lds in my journal and added 100 to it from all my past lds since childhood, but I've probably had a good 200 since I was 13 so 4 years ago, but it's a poor estiment, I just know I've had at least 200

No but I was when I was yunger, really 200 over a 4 year period is like 1 a week, so it's not that great.

It seems everyone is experiencing stress right now, I didn't have that great of sleep tonight though I counted like 3 very semi-lucids

Hmm the old stuck record syndrome. This used to bother me alot, especially when it was something very bad by Chas & Dave, or something. I have been known to have a stuck record for over a week - wake up its still there.

My solution (can't remember where it came from - but it works everytime):
Slow the music down, slower and slower, until its so slow the last note just continues on and on, then fade that out to silence.
