Thread: I think I did a WILD

I think i may have achieved my first wild...one morning I woke up and I kept falling into this state where I couldn't move. Since I was kinda delirious, I knew it was SP but for some reason didn't try to take advantage of it because it felt unpleasant and I just tried to keep shaking out of it. Somewhere along the line I fell paralyzed again...and I seemed to 'wake up' in a dream. I could see my wall and everything and somehow I knew i was dreaming. But, for some reason, I felt scared (even though I didn't see anything scary) and I 'fell back' into real life. Basically one minute, I saw my dream wall...then blackness...then I was awake. Was this a WILD? If it was, it sure was damn short, but then again, so were my first LDs.

Also, in SP, is it normal to feel "pins and needles" or "getting sandblasted"? I felt like this again this morning but just got up. Is there any way to try to forget that SP feels unpleasant and just go through with it?

Congrats, sounds like you had a short WILD! SP is very unpleasant for me, I'm not sure about the pins and needles you describe but it definitely feels very tingly. Many times you can go into a WILD without ever noticing sleep paralysis. This is the way I prefer it, but you really don’t have any control over it.
