      Did I enter SP?

Today I was sick from school and decided to take a nap to make myself feel better. I thought it would be a good time to listen to an mp3 because I was in the mood to fully relax and let go. So I got into my bed and closed my eyes and began listening to the mp3. I started feeling tingles and about 3 times throughout the 35 minutes of the mp3, I had what seemed like a full body spasm where every muscle in my body seemed to twitch. After each spasm a wave of numbness went through my whole body. A car alarm went on outside and I was woken up, but I am wondering if I had SP or if this was just part of the stage of relaxing? I know that there are little muscle spasms as you relax but my whole body shook instead of one particular area having spasms.

You either entered SP or were very close. This is safe to say

You were nearing it just keep it up and try not to focus directly on achieving SP, you will make!

You were close considered how many times you've tried. Good job.

I listen to relaxing music and meditate at night before I go to bed and experience this very frequently. I think it has something to do with your body falling asleep and your brain trying to create stimulation, but I forget exactly.

Thank you for the posts, that definitely boosted my confidence. I have never had an LD so I am glad that I'm doing something right. I listened to the exact mp3, this time before bed and I got more relaxed then I ever had. I started feeling as if I was leaving my body. As soon as this happened though, I felt very uncomfortable and I stopped relaxing and just went to bed. I am wondering if this is normal?

From what I have been reading, everyone has SP. On the rare occasion you can go into an LD without even feeling SP.
