If you read the actual page you linked to you'll see something that looks like a variant of MILD. Concentrating on a (abstract?) theme before going to sleep, to incubate dreams, which became familiar enough that he would realize he was dreaming. It sounds like he was very committed to it, which is probably an important part of his successes.

But seeing how keen he is to explain his own points of view, I can't see why you've held back from emailing him ([email protected]). Be sure to post any reply you get!
