i listen to meditation tracks as i'm falling asleep and have had 2 lucid dreams induced by false awakening into listening to music in bed that wasn't med music. in one case i was listening to a piano solo and i could clearly hear the audience talking and i was like wtf is with my hyper hearing, then i realised it was a LD. another, it was james bond music.
Hey, aren't you the guy who had a picture of himself jumping on a bed as an avatar? I thought the name was different but the face looks the same.
Anyway, I had some "induction chant" looping as I slept one night. It showed up in my dream and DV's Moonbeam and I were walking in some darkened outdoor area. In the dream I told her about what the "music" was for yet, stupid I, failed to become lucid.
I've gotten in the habit of listening to various inductions twice before falling asleep. I'm not sure they really help me much but anything to help focus my mind on dreaming lucidity is a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
That being said, I've have some really awesome lucid experiences on a few nights in which I had listened to Ranma187's first induction. So, hey, I can't say it doesn't work for me either Though, I can't say I've listened to "meditation" music before sleep. I need to find some and give it a try.
