      Developing visual imagery

Do you think that anyone can develop the visual imagery skills necessary to perform frequent WILD's? I've tried visualizing at all different times and hardly ever get very intense visuals. I perhaps you have to have a very energetic disposition?

visual imagery skills are good to have, but they are not needed to WILD. I hardly ever get visuals more than green blobs.

Great freefire! Glad to see that vivid HI is not needed for WILDing. I haven't been able to WILD yet successfully but I've had the green blobs, and have went through the SP transition (characterized by electric-like tingling and such) and have achieved deep relaxation and concentration.

So I'm just curious, how long does it take you to WILD and what happens without HI? Do you just all of a sudden end up in a dream scene? Do you use WILD with WBTB? I haven't used it with WBTB yet. Thanks.

when i WILD and dont have HI, it gets pretty boring lol. i dont feel anything different and i just wait. Somtimes 5 min. sometimes an hour. but my usual range to get into the dream is between 5-20 min. After awhile ill start to feel pretty relaxed, and i know that ill be hitting the vibrations soon. Then all of a sudden without warning ill hear this rushing sound pass my ears and i'll feel all weird and stuff. Somtimes i feel like ive sunk through my bed, or rolled out of it, but lately the way i get through is by focusing on my dream body, or peeling it away. My dream then has started and i open my eyes and nose rc then i leave to go explore

I always use WILD with wbtb. It helps a ton with how long it takes to get to the vibrations. It helps withh how tired i am too. Ive found that if you arent tired enough, it takes forever to WILD.

i hope that helped ya sorry if its a little hard to understand, its really hard to explain.

      good luck man

Thanks a TON for the insightful response, freefire. I just have one more question to annoy you with if you don't mind.

From what you're saying it seems that for you the SP/vibrations occur simultaneously with your entrance into a dream. For me, I get the SP and vibrations and stuff but not a dream or a rushing sound past my ears. Am I understanding you correctly that these both happen at the same time for you?

Also, when your dream starts are you still in your bedroom with the lights off? Or are you instantaneously transported someplace else?

Thanks a million in advance for the help
