      Questions about MILD

I understand the MILD technique and have tried it(and failed) but have some questions about it: Is there some way for your mind to just have a lucid dream by just saying "I will luid dream tonight"? Can you tell your mind details of the dream you want to have and there's a high chance it'll happen?

I'm always telling myself I'll lucid dream and wake up in my LD at Dorney Park during a school trip but don't. What am I doing wrong? I really belief I could have one

I also want to try this during naps

Well Mild doesn't work quite as simply as, "I will lucid dream." That hasn't ever worked for me. What does work is when you combine it with a dream you had during the night if you combine it with WBTB. I've written a tutorial on it in the Education Team subforum that details some of this.

I also think that your Mild slogan is too long. Make it shorter and punchier and more memerable. Eg. I will LD in Dorney Park. Combining this thought with imagining yourself becoming lucid at Dorney park will strengthen it further.

Have you considered imagining yourself at somewhere more familiar. In all my lucid dreams I am in my street when I become lucid. perhaps this will work for you also.

So I should say "I will lucid dream in Dorney Park" and imagine it happening? How many times?

I really want to do it tonight!
