If you do in fact notice all of the above that lessens the problem a bit, because if you just keep a look out for things that are odd and are constantly asking yourself if you are dreaming this will most likely cause you to go lucid Reality Checks can also be a great help.
But if you are not aware of anything which I said above that is another problem in itself. You might need to change your mindset before you fall asleep repeating the same thing over and over and over and over. For instance if you said "This Isn't Real" a whole lot of times before you fell asleep right to the point of you falling asleep.
A) You might just get lucky and have a WILD.
B) In your dream you might say "This Isn't Real" bringing about a Lucid Dream.
Don't give up hope your bound to become aware and have a lucid sooner or later.
Hi, about doing reality checks during the day. I don't know about other people but for me if I want to see something or do something like reality checks in the dream, I can't do it for the whole day or more than a few times for prolonged periods, I won't do it in the dream at all. I find if I do it for like the whole day for just a day or two, and then stop doing any checks and anything LD related, chances are I can 'induce' the RC or dreamsign at will during WBTB by thinking about it, although not always. I wonder if this applies to others since they do say that only rarely do they actually do the reality check in the dream despite doing so many RCs during the day and for so long.
