You might try touching things (I mean really "feeling" them) to stabilize your dream. Get into how they feel.. are they hot, cold, smooth, rough, etc.. this often helps me remain in a dream longer.

Try spinning in the dream...it always works for me.

      Thanks guys.
Could my dreams not last long because I'm overwhelmed?
I've been thinking of a bunch of things to do in my dreams...but I don't know which to do...so I end up getting pretty anxious. :3

If you get excited you can lose your dream,so yes. Just take a deep breath and focus on your surroundings for a bit and that might help. But focusing on one thing too much can cause you to lose your dream also.
