a friend of mine WILDed without knowing it

      this surprised me as well

I have already talked to her about the ability to control dreams and to know that you're dreaming, but i never mentioned any technique to her

she told me she had had a nightmare, so she was kind of afraid to go back to sleep. therefore, she stayed conscious. after some time she said she felt "the dream starting" and suddenly she knew she was dreaming and could control it

she's a friend I really trust, so I wonder if WILD really is THAT easy for some people?

      strange thing

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.

Wow that's cool. I firmly believe that a lot of people have a hard time with LDs because they assume it's not easy before they even try.

      Sounds possible to me.

If you are scared, you may not want to move because, at night, your movement can seem loud while you are trying to listen for others. You'd stay aware but your body, unless tense, would fall asleep and you could slip into the dream world.

I don't think `easy' is the correct word lol.
I mean, most of the time when I go to bed I'm not in the mood to wait for my body to fall asleep...
But if you're -so- scared to lose consciousness, I guess then it's just what has to happen sooner or later?
