Ok whatsup with wild and wbtb ?

I lay on my back wich is not how I usually sleep and I did not move, eventually I started feeling numb and I thought I would have an Ld but after two more plays of my mp3 (18minutes each) I realized that I am literally going numb from bad bloodflow and I just turned the mp3 off and went to sleep.

      any tips?
I keep reading that its best not to move but this and lying on my back has me struggling for breath as I get motionless and I dont just get numb I lose feeling in my feet

struggling for breath isnt good for a WILD. You need to be in a comfortable position. You dont have to WILD on your back you can choose to WILD on you side or stomach too if thats more comfortable.

oh and you sound like you are a little too awake. You need to be a bit more sleepy or its going to take you hours.

Sleep in whatever position is the most comfortable for you. Many people find that the supine position (lying on your back) helps one keep his or her mind awake, but successful WILDs can be achieved from any comfortable position. Definitely don't sleep on your back if it's uncomfortable.

Just to make sure, could the numbness you're feeling be the onset of SP? If you get the same numbness after lying still for a while in another position, then it's either the onset of SP or just natural numbness from being conscious of the fact that you haven't been moving.
