      A dream takes place during your REM period so your Lucid Dream can last as long as your REM period does.

      They can range from a couple of seconds to about 2-3 hours. Although, it would be hard to have a lucid dream that long, it's not impossible.

      It depends how long the REM period is that you are in, how long is left of it and how long you can stabilize the dream for.

      I have yet to have a long lucid dream. The longer you sleep the longer your REM is, the longer your REM is, the longer you dream. Just remember to rub your hands together to keep the dream going, and maybe say "more clarity now!"

      It's really a perception, it can feel like it lasted for years when in the waking reality it could've been 2 minutes.
