      am i getting closer?

      in my dream last night i was in a room with someone (i hope i'n not getting confused but thats what i remmber now...) i was playing the guiter which i dont usualy do and while talking to her i thought i just woken up becouse i opened my eyes to another place but then i thought "wait i want to be dreaming so i closed them" and i think i kept on dreaming, i could recall other earlier and latter situations from that one but when i finelly did wake up i realized that when i thought i was waking up befor i was actualy still dreaming... i guess it was a fals awakening but i didnt give it enough time to realize i was still dreaming (cuz i wanted to keep dreaming so continued with the earlier situation by closing my eyes!)

      so now i'm thinking...
      if i let my self wake up in the dream would i have become lucid?
      would i realize i was still dreaming (i woke up in a place i recognized as a road intersection near my building!)

      any thought's about this or sugesstions for how i can use this to attain lucidity?

      Um, are yuo sure you didnt wake up for real and was tooooo tired to realize it, like half asleep? Cuz I do that alot; like u know wake up, look out my window for a sec., lay back down and fall asleep, and then remember it in tha morning.
      Or maybe Im not hearin u right.

      i think i was still sleeping cuz i did not wake up in my bed (though it felt like i was waking up for real)
      that's why i'm confused... i never had a false awakening befor and usualy when i wake up in the morning i try to go back to sleep so i can keep dreaming but i never woke up in a dream befor :O)
