      WILD and your senses

As opposed to just laying there in my bed waiting for HI and trying to mimic visuals last night I tried to create sounds instead. It is actually much easier then trying to recreate other senses because we do it all the time. It work really fast to get to the point of seeing HI's but I fell asleep But much faster than I usually do which is kinda a plus for me).
Who needs skill when you have luck?

That's an interesting idea actually.. try to "create" sounds instead of simply waiting for them to happen.

I'll have to give that a try.. thanks so much for sharing!

That is interesting. Do you mean you heard them in your mind, or in your ears?

good find, i've used a similar induction written about here: (at the end)

It definitely works to bring on HI and sleep quicker and very rarely fails for me.

As per the mind or ears thing, at first it's in the mind but when I did it at times it'd feel like you were actually listening to music. I had some beautiful violins playing in my ears.

I like the part about falling into water then mud. I used to think of my body filling with my cement when I tried to fall asleep but it was pretty demanding and boring. I'll have to try that with some violins playing

Sounds pretty uncomfortable to me, did it ever work?

Oh, and I found myself needing to get to sleep rapidly last night and gave this another try (Hadn't used it in a good while). Still works like a charm for me, I was in HI in minutes and sleep probably 40 seconds after that. I find if you dont want sleep you have to time it properly because the technique is quite powerful, its like jumping out of a plane (the ground being sleep) you have to pull your parachute at the right time, too early and its useless, you're not close enough to sleep, to late and.. well you get it

Suprised your post hasn't had more attention its a really good way of inducing hypnogogia.

Maybe I should make a tutorial and make it more specific and with an interesting title. Fall asleep in minutes: Useless for staying concious. Speaking of staying concious I find that the hardest part when WILDing. I get so close then I either fall asleep or start dreaming then jolt awake and forget my dream lol.
