      Arrow RC TIP 99.9% SuCCessfullllll!!

note: Only! for when u Strongly Suspect you're actually dreaming while in a dream
How about... counting your fingers either on your left or right hand on both sides huh? IM NOT DONE YET.......

My RC technique i perform every time i get the gutty feeling im in a dream, so here it is and enjoy!

=======>either on your left or right hand( choose only ONE hand), count each finger on that ONE hand..If! you see that you have 5 fingers,:p turn that same hand around and count again"the probability is you wont have the same number of fingers on your other side or your hand will look freaking retardedly different!!!

..Either two, you will succeed Because...During that Time Period your mind is still shifting scenery and wabbering Unconsciously SO!!! u Got! 1 OF a 100% of Failing...

note: dream scenes change if u already have noticed, your attire changes with it. Also check if you're only on underwears most times i look at my clothing i notice pretty much nakedtivity or hippi clothes.so have fun!!!!

Important!!practice this technique during your wake hours when the thought "dreams" comes to your mind. This will Develop!!into your dreams. you'll also start to notice lucidity becomes much easier. it's upto you if you want to try this one out and feel free to share your Asnswers.. GOOD LUCK and Sweet Dreammssss

do you have to look at your hand while doing this?

i'd rather just count em on my mind so i dont look weird doing this one when awake.

That was always a realiable DS for me, but I've had a couple lately where my hands looked normal. My SC finally figured that one out. Too bad, it was my favorite.

A long long time ago in a thread, I said I was going to look at a DC's hand to see if it looked weird too. I finally remembered to do it in a low-level lucid; I was trying to prove to my Dad that it was a dream, and I was showing him my lobster-claw hand. I told him to look at his own hands, but they were normal, so he didn't believe that it was a dream.

Well, you don't stand there with your hand out in front of you - arm fully extended - and shout: "1!... 2!... 3!... 4!...". You merely look at (see) your hands. No need to act like you're tripping on LSD.

Yes, during the day, periodically - or simply randomly - look at and count your fingers. Like any RC, it's not fool-proof but, that's why it's advisable to participate in multiple types of reality checks.

As far as being dark goes: you'll be doing it during the day when it's plenty light. You don't lie there in bed counting your fingers while you're in the dark trying to fall asleep. RCs are generally a "waking" activity. This is so because dreams are almost exclusively a "waking life simulator", just all messed up. You want to test for waking life, not for the condition of trying to sleep.

sorry to bother but let me just notethat the original tutorials where they say to count how many fingers you got on each hand well i added a bit of a twist on coming up with the idea of rotating your hand and counting again. It's very possible for you to still see your 5 fingers without rotaing your hands. Chances are, since you have just become aware of your sorroundings, your mind is still not fully conscious enough to stop the changes in your environment..This means its 99% of a 100 possible you'll endup with a different count... good luck and enjoy your Lucids guys

no Snooze, as long as you don't make things too obvious, you'll be fine but, it's recomended to throw some sort of speech on it and remember to do this everytime you become aware of your mind wandering by its self.. and good luck

Yea, I hate low-level lucids; so frustrating and seem so stupid later.

Just out curiosity, where does the figure "99.9%" come into play? Did you actually try this 1,000 times and fail once?

Sorry if this question comes across as my being a smart-ass (I am, but that's beside the point). I just expect numbers to have meaning, instead of their being merely used as hyperbole.

Other than that, yes, this is a good technique, and thank you for sharing it. My last good LD involved finger-counting.

Uh... yes I did. That figure means "999 times out of a 1,000." Unless you've tried it 1,000 times, there's no way to arrive at that figure.

isnt this like any other RC?
whats so different about that makes it 99.9% successful?

Does this answer your question? I think 1 tiny possibility of failing means 0.1%

Sorry Lucidincubizt, I didn't want to offend you, your RC IS a good one, but next time please don't exaggerate that much and please don't use that many font variations... it doesn't make your sentences mor legible it even makes it more difficult...
