Sorry but I don't understand. Sounds like a normal RC method to me. Mind explaining it a bit more? |

Hi, had this idea last night....have a digital watch on a table across the room but not too faraway. For this to work U already need to have the habit or mindset to do a reality check whenever U wake up from sleep. So if U happen to wake up briefly in the night....intend seriously like it's so damn important that U have to get up and walk to the table to do the watch check. But at the same time Ur so tired to get up but U know U have to do the check....most likely U'll have an FA and U'll be doing the check....:p:p. I got this idea after I had an FA when I was to jot down some numbers on my notepad but it was quite 'far' away to reach but I knew I had to or I would forget and I did exactly that in the FA. Only to wake up to realise I hadn't! |

Are you dreaming, Truff? ARE YOU?!
(For reality checks)
Hi, that's what it is, an RC. IMO if U really think that doing a watch RC is as important as going to the toilet to pee when U wake up....chances are U will dream that U did when U fall back to sleep without doing it. It's like U really need to do something but Ur so damn tired to get up and do it but it's so near U, so U'll end up doing it in the dream when U fall asleep again. |

I like that idea. He means that you wake up, tell yourself that you really really need to do an RC but fall asleep before you do, and you should have an FA of you doing the check because of the seeded importance of the RC. This then leads you to an LD. |

Control is Everything
LD Count:33
WILD:6, DILD:27, MILD:3
(At this point, I've completely lost count. Those are my last accurate stats.)
I get the idea. The technique basically encourages false awakenings that are almost always recognized as such due to the fact that you only get up to make a reality check. It sounds really clever. I might try this one out. |

Maybe this would work. Although, sometimes I'll set the alarm for a WILD attempt and the alarm will go off. I'll hit the off button but then lie there for a few seconds thinking I should really get up and WILD. I fall back asleep but I don't have a FA of doing a WILD... |
