      11am:
      12am:
      1pm:
      2pm:
      3pm:
      4pm:
      4:30pm:
      5pm:
      5:30pm:

      7:30pm:
      7:45pm:
8pm: and onwards until you go to sleep.
      Dream Journal:

Well the problem usually isn't "I wonder if I should RC right now..." The problem is remembering to. That's the hard part for me. The other thing is if you RC every hour on the hour, it will just become routine, and you won't mean it. For an RC to work, you have to really analyze your surroundings, in my opinion. I do my RCs in the "lucid living style". I just try to convince myself that I am in a dream no matter what. (Without doing anything stupid like trying to fly). I make up a reason why I can't use powers.

"The sun is at the wrong degree of brightness for me to use my powers right now. The brightness is too dim..I rely on the sun as my source of energy so I must not use my powers until it is brighter". In the meantime try and convince yourself that everything you're seeing is part of your dream world.

If you do this as your reality check, you will do it in a dream. To do a reality check in a dream, you have to be partially conscious anyway to remember to do it, if you think about it. With this way, lucid living is more of a habit or way of living than an RC, and in my experience works a lot better.

      happy dreaming

Well, first off thanks for your reply, the whole point of this chart is to egt somone into a routine so if you walk around your bedroom all day or your visit your lockers every hour or you work at a desk you place the chart there and it is a simply reminder, and the dream journal part really is good for helping to realize your dreaming.

Oh I understand what you mean now. Good idea. I think I might do that at first. But be careful, because if reality checks become routine and boring, they can eventually lose their effect after a while, and not work, because you just do them routinely.

Cool thanks for your reply this is just a simple straight forward plan to get begginers lucid and then i suggest they perform reality checks at random intervals and when they see there dream sign.

I find reality checks work better being spontaneous, I somehow doubt keeping a tally would cross over into my dreams. When I did them to a tile they didn't work.

If it works for you though, go for it.

Well I see what the idea of it is. Designed for beginners just to get them into the habbit and getting them used to the idea of performing RCs then they can do it on their own.

But I do agree that they work much better if they're spontaneous, the only problem (with me included) is that many people seldom remember to do them! This fixes that hopefully. After a while they can stop using the chart, and do them spontaneously when they remember (which will be more frequently due to the chart habbit even though its ceased.) Really quite a good idea if you think about it.

The thing is. I do RCs very often and regulairly. It's really a habit. During daytime I always remember to do an RC every hour at LEAST. However in my Dreams I am never reminded to do an RC.

Try the chart, for a week see how it goes, then if you like it for a month by then you will REALITY CHECK at random when your brain asks you should i rc? or wheres the peace of paper reminding me to rc gone?
Using this chart i think will improve a begginers reality checking and if you incorporate the Journal area you are sure to become lucid.
      report how it goes please.

write a cross trough your forearm (spelling?) and everytime you see it, do an RC, theres the posibility that you might see this cross in your dream arm and when you see it in your dream you will do an RC and BOOM .. lucidity
