Sleep paralysis > Lucid Dream - How To "Roll" out

Ive known about Lucid dreams for about 6 months now and managed to get it to the stage where I experience them every few nights and once had 4 in one night!

      BUT

When im having sleep paralysis, not once have I been able to "roll" out of my body and into a lucid dream....

How on earth do you do it?

I'm probably the last person to tell you what to do, since I haven't had much SP. I'll just give you a suggestion I heard somewhere. When you try to "rool out" or leave your body, do so with your mind, imagination, visualisation. Anything to detach you from "reality" and into a dream. That's what I've heard, so good luck!

I've tried levetating out up out of my body, sinking down out of my body, just imagining I was standing and I was suddenly standing. They work if you remember to try them.

I don't know why I insist on it in dream, but I usually am determined to break out of the paralysis by force of will. I sort of gather all my fiercest emotions together and MAKE myself move. I really wish I wouldn't start my LDs that way but I can't help it sometimes. The dream me isn't very bright.

I think the easiest is to just picture yourself standing beside the bed and *poof* you're there.

hmm i may try that myself, i always try to really get up and that maybe the problem. my dream self is smart, just VERY lazy. thats mainly why i haven't been lucid.
