Thread: Becoming lucid all of a sudden for no reason

I just had it last night. I was walking somewhere for a while already and suddenly I was lucid. I didn't think about dreaming, I didn't question the world around me, I didn't do a reality check, I did nothing at all. But suddenly I was lucid.

I think it was a little strange. But convenient. Did this happen to anyone else?

Yeah its called a DILD - you just become lucid through not trying. Happens all the time to me, well not as much now I am getting older, but when I was younger it did.

And reality checks are normally only don't to reaffirm your suspicions you are lucid.
