ok this is kind of like a dild so dont flame me if it is completely a dild. i call it...<insert drumroll here>... the RCILD for Reality Check Initiated Lucid Dream. you simply do various reality checks through out the day (wait a sec, gotta do one now... nope, not dreaming) and pretty soon you should start doing them in your dreams! i did this for just one day and had several small lucids that night! last night i had about three lucids that i could control and everything! anyway... if this is just a way to do a dild, then the mods can delete this.

That's probably the most widely used technique. Sorry.

One of the steps to becoming a lucid dreamer is to do this anyway. It is one of the basic foundations of lucidity while asleep. I'm not being subtle but.... Everyone Knows This!!!!!!!!!!!! It is one of the first things you learn in your quest of lucidity. I've did them everyday since i first read the explanation to lucid dreaming. Sorry if I'm flaming, but still.

Realitycheks are subjective..

Yet, they spread like placebo...

Please stop fooling yourselfs! It can even make it harder to obtain awarness of the fact that you are dreaming...
