how often do you RC and when?

How many times per day on average do you do a RC? and do you do it on intervals, like every hour, do you do it whenever you happen to remember it, or do you do it only when you see a dream sign or something that reminds you of a dream? what works best?

I used to reality check about every 15 mins and for me that worked very well. A couple of months ago i started doing reality checks and on the second night i had a dild and then i had something like 6 dilds in the next 7 nights. Some people say random reality checks don't work for them, only to perform them when something out of the ordinary happens but i have become lucid countless times through a random reality check so it depends on the individual.

I have become lazy lately and stopped doing reality checks.

Whenever I find something strange. Other than that, never, they just don't work for me.

How did you manage to remember to do a reality check every 15 minutes?
I'm your dream, mind astray. I'm your eyes while your away.

After you have been doing reality checks for so long it becomes routine.

Never. I tried the RC stuff 10 years ago when I took my first stab at learning to LD. It was useless.

I use WBTB + intention. Any other technique I use is a variation thereof.

I agree. I have never become lucid by doing an RC. Whenever I become lucid it is always because something makes me suspect that it's a dream, like noticing a personal dreamsign. Then I use RCs to confirm it. On the other hand I think that developing a critical attitude toward reality (i.e., "could this be a dream?") has often helped me become lucid in dreams.

Yep, WBTB is a killer technique. According to LaBerge it will increase your chances of becoming lucid tenfold.
