I didn't use it last night because i had to get up early but i will be tonight.

The relaxtion part is also hard, but I guess practise makes perfect

Thats right.

With practice perhaps you will go on to master the technique and lucid dream at will.

So I should still be sleepy, not awake?

I would say you have to stay up at least 10 minutes otherwise your mind will still be foggy.

Like other WILD methods, you should be awake enough that you are fully aware you are awake and not dreaming, and also aware of your surrondings, but not so much so that falling asleep becomes difficult.

I think that's a bit too long for me, because I always have trouble getting back to sleep...



5 minutes is good I think

Yes it is a fine line. You have to find the amount of time that suits you best.
