      SP method of lucid dreaming

Sorry, I have not got a concrete way to induce SP. If you have any suggestion then tell me.

So the basic problem of this method is getting into SP. Hey, before you ask I did not invent this method.

Well, you do wbtb and then stay up for a hour so you feel awake. This is improtant as the more awake you feel the more chance of getting SP.

This technique could be called run out your house method.

Essentially you get into SP and then rock yourself out of SP and then run to your light and try to turn it on. You will notice that the light does not work, that means your dreaming. Then run outside and everything will be like a normal dream.

If your in SP then this has a 100% success rate.

P.S. Although this method is not mine I could find no recent posts on this method. So if you find yourself in SP then try this method.

Note: Before you open your front door you should think what do you want to be behind the door. If you don't then it will be the normal outside, however if you think I want to be in beach or in a city then you will be.

The planet Earth exhibits all of these properties and therefore can be considered alive and its own single organism by the scientific definition.
      7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.
does the planet Earth reproduce, well no unless you count the moon.

aha. Theres a face we haven't seen around here for a while. Regardless.. this thread will probably turn out... interesting...

With regards to attaining SP, I'd recommend Jeff's tutorial on getting your body to fall asleep.

This is actually the method I've used most often to get into LDs, and you're right, if you are already in sleep-paralysis it has a very high success rate. For me, it tends to feel like... I'm in sleep paralysis, I can't move my actual body, but I can sort of... sit up and walk away from my bed, leaving my body still lying in it. For some reason, I then usually climb out of my bedroom window rather than leaving by the door. I don't know, it seems perfectly logical at the time (and is a good way to start off flying dreams, I guess...)
I have two problems with it, though:

      1. The part that I mentioned above where I sort of stand up and leave my body lying in bed (I've even occasionally turned around and "seen" myself still lying there asleep) is.. It works fine, it's is not a problem in itself, but - quite often it will be accompanied by utter irrational terror and a horrible creepy feeling of "if I leave my body just lying here, I'll never be able to get back in!" I know perfectly well that this is a ridiculous fear, but I guess my dreaming mind is not very rational, because sometimes it's so scary and overwhelming that I feel I have no choice but to try to wake up for real "before it's too late". Any ideas for getting myself past the irrational-panic stage?

      2. This doesn't always happen, but sometimes when I do manage to get up out of bed (in the dream), I will find that my eyes are still closed and no matter how hard I try, I can't open them, and therefore can't see anything... I've resorted to trying to prise my eyelids open with my fingers sometimes, but no luck!

Now, wouldn't it be funny if someone's electricity just wasn't working and he runs outside, half naked, yelling "I'm dreaming!" in front of his neighbors.

Could be much worse if he did my climbing-out-of-window thing. Splat...

Maybe an extra reality check wouldn't be a bad idea?
