Having good recall greatly helps with DEILD. |
|
I've tried two nights in a row, but when I wake up it takes me about two minutes to realise that I was supposed to try and DEILD. By then it's too late and I've moved about and perhaps forgotten my dream scene. |

what is deild? |
|
It's when you wake up from a dream and immediately go back into it. You have about a three second window of opportunity and if you miss it then it's too late. It's basically a super-accelerated WILD. |
|
I have that problem alot to. Ill wake up and think i can fall back into a dream but i gotta pee. Or ill be trying to wild and i have to pee each time i try. Damn overactive bladder! |
|
Ah, so you have to get lucky and realise it was a dream within 3 seconds of waking? That's irritating. It usually takes me at least 30 seconds |

You could leave yourself a little reminder. Stick a piece of tape to the back of your hand or (if you can get to sleep like this) your face. When you wake up, you will probably feel the tape which should remind you why you stuck it on yourself which is DEILD. |

Thanks arby. I'll remember that tonight. |

Whenever I find myself awake I keep my eyes close and let my mind wander. Then the dreams seem to come flooding back to me. So I write a few quick notes for later, without opening my eyes. |

Well, with DEILD being my technique and all I guess it's only normal to give you some pointers that may lead to success. |
