I guess I found out how to WILD a few days ago. I got to the same point in my last post, but I allowed the SP to come and go a few times.
I noticed that with each time the SP went, I felt further from my real body. It was an eerie feeling, but I forced myself to remain calm.
After awhile, it felt as though I was laying on the ground underneath my bed. This is when I started getting extremely bright flashes of scenery. I then just opened my eyes.
When I opened them I was in my house, but a version of it like 5 years ago. What I couldn't get over is how much clearer and more vivid a WILD is compared to a DILD.
I mean, I've had a few DILDs before, but never a WILD. This blew me away. I actually just spent the first (what felt like) 5 minutes just going around feeling things with my hands. It felt so real that it was creepy.
And also, the hazy look that a DILD usually has for me wasn't there. My vision was just as perfect as in normal life. This was another plus for WILDs.
I eventually wandered out to the backyard so that I could try flying. I ended up being able to fly upwards, but my body started tilting sideways as I was still going straight up. It was like my balance got all screwed up.
So I just let myself fall back down(which I imagined wouldn't hurt, so I'm thinking that's why it didn't), and landed in the front yard.
There were some people... and unfortunately they somehow convinced my dream-self that it wasn't a dream and I drifted off into non-lucidity. Uhg...
The whole experience lasted what felt like 10 minutes... which made it my longest lucid dream ever.
