Reconizing the dreamy feel of a lucid dream to attain lucidity

Ok guys I had two 15 minute lucid dreams this morning. Something happened though, I think I figured something out. You know how you have that light dreamy feel when your walking around? Well if you can reconize that feel lucid dreams will be alot easier to do.

My second lucid dream happened because I remembered the feeling of walking in a dream, your light headed and floaty feeling a bit. Now granted these are really my first two lucid dreams ever considering they lasted 15 mins each and I knew I was dreaming the whole time. Several times I went into false awakenings during the lucid dream but gain back lucidty because I felt that dreamy feeling when I was walking. So learn to reconize that feeling and you can turn regular dreams into lucid ones easier.

Congrats, you have reached what many refer to as the dreaming body. This is how every lucid I have is triggered. That feeling IS dreaming. A completely different realm than the waking world we live.

Once you've entered this arena it is posible to fortify your dreaming body. By these means your lucids become longer and longer as you get better at maintaining the sight of each item in your dream.

      No reality checks necessary .

dreambody, you mean this is something only a few can do or something? Its almost like your flickering or something...your made of ga and your light feeling. I had the feeling that I could have another lucid dream right afterwards but it was getting near 10am and I had stuff to do, I felt like something clicked with me when I "felt" my dream body.

But one problem, my eyes always are trying to open and awake me from lucidity, I can see the dream world with a peak of the real world. Just close your eyes right now and imagine you see the dream world, now open them a little and you see the real world, its like that. How do I get past this? Thanks

Oh and does it get easier to reconize this dream body feeling once you have done it?

All dreamers must feel this but it seems that some ignore it. The flickering can be made to stop as you develop and strengthen your dreaming self.

It starts as an idea, then as something that can be felt, then as a realm of practicalities.

I believe that this open eye problem will disappear as you get better at dreaming.

Remembering to reality check within a dream is truly an amazing feat, but it is also an unnecessary one. Once you've developed your dreaming attention, dreaming happens on its own.

In order to do this all you have to do to start is look at an item in your dream and before it changes into something you look at another object. Start with maybe 2-4 items to start. You give quick deliberate glances to different items but you always return to the first item, as a ground.

Your energy will run out soon at the start and you will wake up. But as you practice you will see how easy dreaming becomes. In this way you develope the intention to hold your dreams and eventually you will be able to hold them indefinitly.
