      WILD Problem

About 2/3 of the time I do WILD, I get through SP/HI and I am fully aware and not falling asleep anymore but nothing is happening anymore (No SP side effects, No HI).

Are you suppose to do something then to get lucid? I usually end up just rolling over and going to sleep cause I never get past that.

try to "roll over" but still keep trying to wild
might be the position you're in that's keeping you from falling asleep
it might be good to stay in that position till that point, but afterwards roll over and try to get that last part of the way to your WILD

I goto bed at 10 each night and wake up at 3-4am. I stay up till I am awake enough to not passout instantly (which for me is about 25 minutes). Then I try it.

When that happens to me I usually let myself fall asleep a little. I'll just let my mind wander a bit until I start to see HI. I usually manage to keep myself from really falling asleep, but there is always a chance. Worth it though in my opinion.

EDIT: After than I keep my eyes closed and move my dream body by either "sitting up" or "rolling out". I've found that moving forcefully/with confidence really works. After that I open my eyes in the dream world and ground myself before it fades away.

Do a reality check. If you are through SP and not feeling tired you might already be dreaming. Its how all my WILDs start out. I have to open my eyes and do an RC.
      Total lucid dreams=88

I will always do a time RC and a breathing RC. They always fail. Could I still be lucid?

I decided to lay on my stumach and try to WILD last night because that is my natural sleeping position and I fell asleep before I counted to 10. Lol.

So I guess I have to start on my back.

Says the one with the stick figure massacre lulz.

      They're just dolls.

      @ Arthurium :

Damn, I wish I could fall asleep that fast; it usually takes me over an hour.

Hmm, I'm afraid I don't have much experience in RCs failing...
I'd assume that nothing happens to you after SP because you get a bit exited during it?
That's what happens to me sometimes. I end up "scaring" the SP away, y'know?

Last night I got to the same place where I was awake and nothing was happening.

I tried a few types of RCs and they all failed... then I passed out.

      But I felt lucid.

      Hmm...
