      Was this SP?

A few days ago, when I was on a plane, I decided to try to take a nap (cause it's a 10 hour flight and I only slept for 3 hours)
As I was dosing off, I heard that we were going to descend, so I continuously removed the pressure in my ears every minute or so as I was sleeping. Suddenly, I realized that I could not move at all. What I mean is, I was able to hear my sister/parents talking and stuff, but I could not move. I felt like if I tried really hard, I could do something, but I felt like my arms and legs and stuff were too tired to move. At the same time, i couldnt even relieve the pressure in my ears, I felt as if i was just too tired to move, so everything was kinda refusing to work. At the same time, i had a really strange HI...
So I was wondering if this was actually SP, because it seems like it, but I heard in SP you can still open your eyes, though I couldn't even open them.

Yes, it was probably sleep paralysis. I don't think you can open your eyes in SP - I'm not sure where you heard that. You can still hear real life noises in SP, too.

Whether you can open your eyes or not during SP probably depends. I can't remember if I've ever been able to move my eyes in SP, though usually I can't, though if they're closed, they will sometimes slowly open on their own. Oftentimes one will open a bit before the other one.
