Lightbulb A New DILD Aid and Maybe a New Beast All Togther

I recently read EWOLD and I remember reading the chapter where Dr. Stephan was trying to use external cues to induce lucidity. I recall him using a vibrator on the ankle to remind the subject to do a reality check. However he didn't talk about it very much after he introduced the DreamLight invention. I got to thinking about this and I realized that most people have a device that will vibrate after a set amout of time, a cellphone. Without having to spend money on a DreamLight I think I could set my phone to vibrate at random time during the day each time performing an RC. Then when night rolls around I set the phone in 90min intervals to catch me in a dream, in a perfect world I'd feel this in the dream interpret it as my phone and become lucid when I do an RC. At the very least I think this could be a good way to increase RC frequancy. What do you think?

Vibrating wristwatches would work better. Phones vibrate too much and I think would wake you up.

I thought about that too when I read that, I'm working on a tiny device that I'll strap to my ankle (I don't wear a watch.) I'm still figuring out a design for it, but I hope it will do that same thing that you are talking about without spending money on a watch.

That's about where I'm at right now with my phone it doesn't bother me too much but the vibration continues until you shut it off. If I can't shut it out maybe I'll go your route.

Just don't roll over onto your cell phone and crush it. Plus I'd rather use a watch.

my fone is useful for this cuz if u turn the volume off and set an alarm, it will turn on a light but the light will go out after a while, so if i put it facing me during the night, all i hav to do is estimate wen im in REM correctly, then hopefully it will help with lucidity like the dream light thing.
