Thread: My Mew Years Resolution (Yes I know I'm a bit late)

Good luck! I've never had a lucid dream, or any clear dream for that matter, but I still hope you achieve your goal.

to venomblood. YOu will just do reality checks constantly. and how many dreams do you remember? 1 a night? 1 a week? 1 a month? recall is important. Think about it. You could have had 1000 lucid dreams and not remember if your recall is bad

I usually remember a couple a week, so maybe about half of them in a month. Sometimes I have periods of not dreamings, but it depends on the way I wake up (if I wake up when my alarm goes off, but fall back asleep for a few minutes I usually don't remember). And it doesn't really matter if I could of had 1000 lucid dreams because if I didn't remember them technically they really didn't happen, since it's all in my head. But anyway, about my dreams: They're usually pretty fuzzy, generally not many colors, slightly black&white, and nothing extremely unusual ever happens like people with fish heads or aliens. I've never had a nightmare that I can remember. My normal dreams are usually completely random, for example, here's one:

I'm in some kind of cafe and I work there, and I'm buttering toast to make sandwiches for people (yes, I'm buttering toast). An Australian guy is yelling at me for not washing my hands. There are people on the couch watching football. The cafe has a huge resemblance to my house. And most importantly: It's in a 3rd person, still camera, birds eye kind-of view.

I noticed the mew years too lol. But, hey. About how often you dream.
No matter what you think. Feeling you might not dream. EVERYONE dreams at LEAST 3 times a night. It is actually required so you don't die. lol. Oddly there was tests on rats dreaming. Everytime they hit REM they woke them up. It took less than 2 weeks for the rats to die. odd? They figured out you need at least 2 REM cycles of 10 mins each. So 20 mins of REM a night to live. Sometimes REM is longer sometimes less. Up to 1 hour at the end of the night. So the ones you remember most often are vague parts of the last one.
So you always dream just not remember it.
It is POSSIBLE to have 120 lucid dream a month. If anyone can do this I want to talk to that person. lol.

that's right you wise man.
before when my recall was worse i could get flashbacks from a dream in the middle of the day and then remember that i got a LD last night. it feels better when having good recall and can remember every detail.

haha I have that sometimes. About 4 hours after I get up I remember dreams more than right when I get up. I found that odd
