Thread: what the hell, reality check didnt work

So last night I had this dream where I am working at a parade or something and my job is to get people drinks. I'm really fed up with everybody asking me for stuff and I dont seem to remember even signing up for it (which of coarse I didn't) so I decided to get a little high on the job. Im with a few people that I really do work with and we are smoking weed. And this one girl pulls out this bottle of some drug that I don't think exists in real life. So I take a couple pills of the drug not even knowing what it does and I start tripping out, acting drunk and laughing at everything, it actually does make me feel quite good (placebo is a good drug) so then we have to go back to the main restaurant and take orders or whatever.
At this point I'm walking back and I start floating. Naturally I assume its the drug. I then realize walking is no longer possible because my legs are not touching the ground so I start flying to where I'm going . I then think "what the hell?!? I didn't know drugs could do this! wait mabe I'm dreaming" I do the nose plug rc and nothing, I cant breath through my nose and I continue going to where Im going.
Quite frustrating, I missed a perfect opportunity to finally lucid dream. I know my nose wasnt plugged or anything so any theorys on why this didnt work? Has this happend to anybody else, quite odd, this was the first time I ever even remembered to do a RC in a dream and Im disapointed it didnt work. Im still waiting for lucid dreaming.
