Thread: I had a dream without me in it

As far as I can tell it's not that usual but such dreams can occure once in a while.

It's because you watch tv

really, u think so? I mean I whatch tv every day but this is the first dream of this kind i've ever had

I had one of those too, even though I made up the storyline myself. It's pretty normal.

The question which comes to mind now is:

Did you prefer it to a normal dream?

It's pretty cool, but I don't really prefer them over normal dreams/LD's.
I controlled the characters in my dream, and could feel whatever they felt (pain/emotions/...)

nah, I think it kinda removed the possibility of becoming lucid, and besides I don't really like those two I dreamt about

haha dunno, look up "Bengt Magnusson" on google and imagine his dark horrible voice and u'll see what kind of punishment it was, a punishment most foul

I've just looked at a video with him on Youtube and I pray that he won't appear in my dreams! Scary, he could play Darth Vader in no time.

I have these a lot. Way more than normal, I think. Some people call them "movie dreams." I'm not sure how to attain lucidity in them.

haha yeah well I see him ever night when the news comes on. it ain't fun. did u hear his voice, it's like somthing from hell or an other dimension, pure evil!

Movies eh, cool. well it was sorta weird, and quite boring by the way I hope for better dreams tonight.

And we also have the same interests. I guess that's set as a default. Someone thought it will be useful that everyone who doesn't set up their profiles have it the same.

I get that alot, where I'll be dreaming of some situation that I don't play a part in, and for me, I think I can pretty much ascribe it to watching television... same feeling

I think I can blame television for missing dreamsigns alot too actually. My dreams OFTEN are set up like tv shows {not that I recognize it at the time}, so when something really out of the ordinary happens I don't even question it, because it's like I'm watching television {and I happen to be IN the show, but I don't notice that part}.

Are you sure you were not in the dream?

It's common to have dreams where you don't co-star yourself, at least for me, but most of my dreams are set from my perspective.

Hey who know maybe I just morfed in to another guy?! I had one more of these dreams last night, a mix of the tvshow Weeds and some high school sit-com.

I have a lot of dreams where I'm a passive observer. It's like a movie: I get introduced at the beginning of the dream, and then for the rest of it, the action is concentrated on the dream characters.
